Google CE Retail Store

Located in the new Google Headquarters, the store engages the public in Google’s product design and production methods.

The space is inspired by the contrasting forms of surrounding context—the fluidity of San Francisco Bay’s Northerly estuaries and the assemblage of man-made grids of the urban fabric. A sinuous, spine-like sculptural installation winds through the space, providing a continuous 120 foot interactive display for Google’s array of hardware offerings. With a focus on human physiology and interaction, the spine is a cabinet of curiosities that promotes active discovery with drawers to open, informative visual graphics, and 3D interactive displays.
