Hong Kong Residence

In a densely developed neighborhood, the Hong Kong Residence negotiates a constrained site to offer panoramic views of the South China Sea, while simultaneously preserving privacy from neighbors. Open interior living spaces are connected to gardens and vistas; the design enables strong indoor-outdoor relationships and edits undesirable immediate surroundings. Conceived as a vertical gradient from public to private, the design provides open space for entertaining at the ground level and a serene enclave above.
