Losa Loft

This loft in San Francisco’s Mission District was remodeled into a warm, cleanly-detailed urban home. The existing space was rendered as a neutral white box into which five architectonic elements were inserted: the cradle, the zipper, the hearth, the stage, and the scrim. Each component responds directly to its context and functional criteria, animating the interior in an efficient and meaningful way.
